Together with the University of Calgary, the Alberta Gaming Research Institute sponsored the 'Treatment of Problem Gambling' conference on May 20-22, 2004. It took place at the Banff Centre, Banff, Alberta and was of interest to researchers, clinicians, counsellors, educators, representatives from government and industry, and the general public. Leading Albertan, Canadian and international gambling researchers presented their research findings and a series of treatment workshops was held. |
