8. MEASURING GAMBLING AND PROBLEM GAMBLING IN ALBERTA USING THE CANADIAN PROBLEM GAMBLING INDEX

The focus of this project was the evaluation of the newly developed Canadian Problem Gambling Index in Alberta. CPGI items were imbedded in a telephone survey of a random sample of adult Albertans. The results provided a baseline status of problem gambling in Alberta communities. Dr. Garry J. Smith (PI), Faculty of Extension, University of Alberta; Dr. Harold J.
