In response to the continuing need for research investigation into various aspects of gambling, the Strategic Partnership and Collaborative Initiative Grants program was initiated in 2003/04.  It aims to stimulate research interest into high priority topics; to attract new researchers from specific disciplinary backgrounds; and, to develop strategic research alliances and collaborative arrangements with other jurisdictions and affiliated organizations.
